Hot damn I love Beaujolais... Said every wine professional ever.

The combination of the Gamay grape grown on the gently rolling granite hills just south of Burgundy, vinfiied carbonically (they pump CO2 into the tank, causing the juice of some whole grapes to ferment inside) causes so much joy to so many people.

This is a fantastically typical expression of Beaujolais, and one we use in our most popular Tour De France tastings. It is light - medium bodied, high acid and driven by crunchy and delicate red fruit throughout. Try it lightly chilled and take it on a picnic.
