Peter Gierszewski is a first generation winemaker. A Polish immigrant, he's settled in southern Burgundy to make some bang on wines in a natural way, with all of the same Burgundian precision that you'd expect. 


Pinot grapes are grown on hills of 3-400m ASL, though West facing, the vines see sun from 9am until sunset, and the juice lets you know. This is a natural, less typical expression of Burgundy, but I find it amplifies the essence of Burgundy more so than you'd find in a more typical bottling.

It has very intense and concentrated black and red fruit, all the strawberry and blackcurrant that you'd expect, but with the dial turned up to 11. It's the bulchey and loud younger brother of Burgundy.


Vinification is in stainless steel only to maintain freshness, then is gravity fed into old oak for a year. The free run, and pressed juice is vinified seperately and then blended later for ultimate balance.
