Baden is often referred to as Germany's Burgundy, here they call Pinot Noir Spätburgunder and it's often expressed into light and ethereal wines of intense aroma.
Enderle & Moll are a super small outfit - 2 winemaking friends making tiny amounts of crazy high quality wines that only a small producer can: Hand-harvesting tiny yields of high-quality grapes, they use gentle production methods of foot-treading, basket press, spontaneous fermentation, old Burgundy barrels and bottling without fining/filtration with low amounts of sulfur.

The 2017 is our favourite vintage of the liason, it's full of hauntingly intense red fruits on the nose, feeling concentrated and sappy. On the palate it feels silky and weightless yet dense at the same time, as a top quality Burgundy can do, full of crushed, almost stewed, red berries and a stoney mineral finish.
