A wine made from Verdejo with a smidge of Malvasia from ungrafted vines (99% of vines are 'grafted' onto the roots of a disease resistant but 'less pure' species) grown on sand. The juice spends 3 weeks on the skins collecting tannin and aromatics before being gently bottled.
Hugely aromatic, this is pretty full bodied juice that penetrates all the senses. Apricot and peach skin, apple peel and wild herbs are lifted by high acidity and a drying finish. Not exactly an introductory amber wine, but not exactly a taxing one either. Delicious.
