In a world where juicy light reds are the absolute must have wine of the moment, I can't help but feel a pang of sorrow for the deeply coloured rose's, which are basically on the other end of the cool spectrum but also basically the same vibe.
 
It is a misconception that dark coloured rose = sweetness, and something that's come about from cheap mass produced white zinfandel unfortunately. 
 
This is bold and fruity, but has a fresh coolness to go alongside, like a cold cherry just out of the fridge. Banging with spicy foods this one.
