Zweigelt is a cross of Blaufrankisch and St. Laurent that's mainly seen in Austria. Here it's grown not too far from the lake Neusiedl in Burgenland in a biodynamic way letting nature do most of the work.
Claus Priesinger is an absolutely class act, making super high quality wines with a low intervention approach that are both 'natty' but accessible at the same time (aka. not too much funk).
This here is medium bodied, low tannin and full of juicy red and black fruits. Lovely structure making the wine feel 'proper' while super gluggable and delicious a little bit chilled.
