This is a future classic from the smoky volacanic island of Tenerife in the Canaries. Whole bunch maceration is used (including the stems which give a little woody structure, something often used in Burgundy), and the juice is then aged in 500L barrels for around 10 months.
There's a real blend of ripe red fruits alongside herbal and smoky mineral notes here. Sortevera have gone from starting out, to putting Tenerife on the world wine map in just 10 years. These cuvees are fantastic and there's more to come.
